Woodlands Double Murder by Ex-Property Agent Due To Provoked and had Depression
A former property agent we found guilty of killing his pregnant wife and four-year-old daughter because he lost is after being provoked by his wife.
Teo was trialed on two counts of murder, for killing his wife Choong Pei Shan, 39, a housewife, and daughter Zi Ning at their Woodlands flat on Jan 20, 2017. He then spent a week with their bodies int he flat before setting the corpse on fire. Due to his the charges carry the mandatory death penalty, while another charge of killing his unborn son has been stood down for now.
Teo and Madam Choong were married in 2009 and were the 2nd marriage for both, as one day Teo caught Madam Choong with another man in their bedroom in 2014 and therefore Teo began to suspect that Zi Ning, their daughter was not his biological daughter. As Teo who used to earn, $20,000 a month as a real estate agent saw his income drop as the property market starts to cool down.
Teo was also reported to have depression as from a successful property agent to a mere employee, that he had insomnia and suicidal thoughts.
