The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA has stated on July 3 that all cinema can be reopened back from July 13.

With the reopenings, in results from the consultation meeting between authorities and cinema operators, the 1m social distancing seat configurations, up to five patrons of friends and family can sit together without the 1m distancing.

While a limit of 50 patrons per cinema hall is allowed and the mask will be mandatory at all times including the time inside the hall and only excepted during consuming food and drinks.
