With the trends of Bubble Tea still on-going around Singaporeans, maybe it will be a good time for us to understand the history behind all these bubble tea inventions.
The first bubble tea was birthed in Tainan and Taichung in the 80s by two teahouses which pouring her sweetened tapioca pudding into tea. Which is then, the Bubbles in the tea itself actually means when the drink is shaken and there will be a froth appearing.

As the bubble tea started to fade away around the early 2000s, somehow the whole market comes back with varieties of brands carrying different bubble tea creations starting around 2003.

Until today, the famous bubble tea consumption by a lot of Singaporeans might be the addiction towards the sugar rush and the chewy boba pearl which will give you that sensational feeling while you are slurping it downs slowly.
