Police Searching For 23-Year-Old Singaporean Student Missing In Australia Ocean
A Singaporean student who is studying Master in the University of Western Australia, Goh Heng Yi, 23-years-old were reported missing after swept off by wave nearby Yallingup in Western Australia on July 1st.
According to the International news, the police were looking for Goh who was reported standing on rocks at the Injidup Nature Spa before the wave swept him into the ocean, as he manages to scramble back on a rock but then was hit again by another wave which was then missing.
The police and rescue helicopter were deployed on Monday evening in search of Goh but the strong waves and winds are covering the search efforts. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affair said that they are aware of the incident and providing support and consular assistance to the family in Singapore.
