SAF Training Set To Resume During Phase 2
The Ministry of Defence (Mindef) has announced during an online interview last Thursday, June 25, that the individual physical proficiency test (IPPT), IPPT preparation training and remedial training at fitness conditioning centres for operationally ready national servicemen (NSmen) will be resuming starting July 1 after putting on hold until the end of August.
This is due to it is very critical functions that the island defence, protection of key installations, maritime security, air defence or counter-terrorism are very crucial steps in ensuring the safety of Singapore. However, these training will be carried out base on safety practice across SAF units and ensuring the safety of all SAF staff will be a critical task but each unit shall stays together and does no cross-part with other units or meets other people.
