Skechers and Dining Outlet Fined $1,000 For Breaching Safe Distancing
During the period from 19th to 28th, there are already 4 composite fines issued out by Enterprise Singapore (ESG) for business owners and employees who failed to follow the safe distancing measurement in Phase 2.
The 2 fines issue of $1,000 each were 2 dining outlets, F&B outlets Shi Li Fang Hot Pot (Junction 10) and New Udon Thai Food (Golden Mile Complex), after they fail to ensure the one-meter safe distancing among customer in queues and safe distancing between-group dine-in and poor crowd control.
Meanwhile, Sketches (Causeway Point) also failed to manage their queues properly which in result congestion at its entrance due to their recent in-store promotions. And a $300 fine was issued to a Prata Wala (Tampines Mall) staff after not wearing a mask during food preparation and managing the cashier during working operation.
ESG advises to all F&B establishment that they are responsible for ensuring at least 1-metre distance between different group of diners and crowds queuing outside their premises.
