S’pore Hurdler Unsatisfied With Coach Penalties For Sexual Assault
Ms. Kerstin Ong, a Singapore Athlete appeals to SportsSG after the Coach’s sexual assault on her was being taken lightly by reducing the penalties of 2 years being reduced to 8 months ban penalties only.

According to Kerstin, she said that this is a very injustice to her due to the coach’s improper behavior during training sessions and she is very upset about how SportSG dealt with this sexual case. She also mentioned that the failure to properly punish perpetrators is demoralizing for the victims who must muster up the courage to speak up. So, therefore, she is calling for SportSG to review their verdict and urges them to future sexual assault cases from seriously.
