Self-Check Temperature Kiosk Within 2 Seconds Designed By Singapore
With the new Phase 2 release, we are seeing long trailing queues on MRT and even Public bus transportation with crowds all queuing up in order to travel to other destinations within the island. But due to the pandemic are still not yet fully cleared, having a slow temperature check-up before entering onto this public transportation might be a huge problem.
Therefore, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) has designed a temperature self-check kiosk. With this current design, it will be deployed to 70 MRT stations and bus interchanges by the third quarter this year so that everyone can be kept safe during this pandemic period of time.
Currently, these kiosk has been deployed to five locations which are Braddell MRT station, Boon Keng MRT station, Tiong Bahru MRT station, Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange and Serangoon Bus Interchange.
