This is an initiative from Dairy Farm Singapore (DFSG) group where their chain store (Cold Storage, Giant, Market Place and Jasons Deli) will be having dedicated shopping hours across all Dairy Farm Food stores in Singapore starting this week.
According to a news release dated Mar. 24, the dedicated shopping hours will allow the elderly and other vulnerable groups to buy essential necessities with ease and safe distancing. Vulnerable groups refer to seniors, pregnant women, mothers with children and persons with disabilities
If you’re wondering what are the dedicated shopping hour for the elderly and vulnerable groups? The hours runs during the first hour of operations (or 8am to 9am for 24-hour stores) every Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, if you miss out on those timing, There will also be special checkout lines for this group of shoppers during normal operating hours.
