The other countries that will follow this movement of closing will be including the Nike stores in Canada, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand where they are set to be closed from March 16 to 27, the company said in a statement.
Good news is that for most asian countries like South Korea, Japan, most of China and in many other countries will continue their normal operations.
Even the store is closed, customers can still order from Nike’s online store while company-run facilities will implement social-distancing measures such as staggering work schedules and additional cleaning.
Earlier this month Nike had temporarily closed its European headquarters in Netherlands after there was a case of an employee was infected with the coronavirus.
