Toast Box has recently released a fried version of Teo Chew Double Delight Bak Chang where this sweet dessert is made from glutinous rice, pork, shiitake mushroom, chestnut, and homemade sweet tau sar (grounded mung beans). With the usual bak chang which is steamed, Toast Box has changed the concept by deep frying it and serving it with sweet and spicy dark sauce and a side of pickled cucumbers.
