Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun has been operating here at Pek Kio Hawker center for more than ten years by Mr. Tan where he had learned about this skill from his father who is also a hawker.
The skill of making the Chee Cheung Fun with cloth which makes it super silky and delicious together with that ingredient such as scallop, prawns, and sprinkled with sesame, light soy sauce will make it a perfect bowl of tummy-warming Chee Cheong Fun! The owner, 46-year-old Eddy Tan, has been making Chee Cheong Fun for 8 years. Where the traditional method, bu la chang refers to having a rice flour batter poured on a cloth over a steamer to form a sheet and ingredients then are put in and cook through. Then the entire sheet will be oiled metal surface and roll up to form the Chee Cheung Fun.
