As according to Oriental Daily report, the Sanrio Hello Kitty Town which is located in Johor Bahru is going to close for good on 31 Dec 2019 due to a lack of tourists.
Just going back to some history. The Sanrio Hello Kitty Town was built in 2012 and the cost of developing this theme park is about RM100 million (S$33 million). Sadly, since it’s opening back in 2012, it has seen a decline in visitors every year thus due to this, they have announced that they will be closing for good on the 31st Dec 2019.
So you need to grasp this chance (while they still open). It’s even better f you have kids, this is actually a good place that you should take your children for a day out.
