Carrot Cake which is known as turnip cake which is mostly found during Chinese New Year time which represents a symbol of good luck were this couple, the 30-year-old Amelia Teh which she didn’t think that making carrot cakes can make a fortune. Where Teh is the main chef behind this Amelia’s Carrot Cake which they are specialists in making this Hong Kong carrot style cakes.
She is also a mother of two, where she didn’t use to make carrot cakes on her regular day as she begins to make more large batch and sell it out after request from her sons and as she is receiving more and more feedback from her friends that they would pay more for her carrot cake.
While they only seriously considering these carrot cakes when the circuit breaker was announced back in April, as the couple’s design and printing company which comes to halt due to cancelation due to the circuit breaker as they were forced to call all their gigs.
