1. TD POINT RETAIL MALL
This is a new makan spot that the JB locals talking and this mall is located within Taman Daya, an hour’s drive from Woodlands checkpoint. There are around some 30 retail and F&B shops, and it’s a heaven for foodies. You can find local brands such as Cawan Mas Coffee, Jiayi Milk Tea, Toung Bak Kut Teh and Ayong Ikan Bakar and dessert all in one place!
If you don’t like local food, you might want to check out other offerings like Taiwanese restaurant Oc’daka, hotpot joint Dynasty Qin and you can jio your vegetarian friends to Pure Minded Vegetarian Cafe.

2. R&F MALL
This is another new shopping destination and it has officially soft opened earlier this year in March is R&F mall, which houses some 106 retail stores (46 of them being F&B establishments). Aside from food, some of R&F’s anchor tenants include Jaya Grocer and Emperor cinema.
In case you don’t know the place, it’s located directly opposite City Square Mall, R&F mall is about a 10-minute walk away from JB’s CIQ checkpoint through the link bridge

3. THE MALL, MID VALLEY SOUTHKEY
In KL, we have Mid Valley Megamall and in Johor, they have The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey. This new mall is touted as JB’s largest integrated shopping mall. The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey is paradise on earth for shopaholics and is said to be better than all its JB mall-predecessors.
There are some anchor tenant in the mall such as SOGO, Din Tai Fung, Family Mart (so called the bigger and better version) and many more! Surely will worth your time to visit!

4. PARADIGM MALL
Before the opening of the The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Paradigm Mall was the largest in JB when its doors were opened to the public back in 2017. Basically this mall is very vibrant and for sure .. lesser crowd if you want a more quiet place to shop.
But still you will surely enjoy the shopping as here (though it’s lesser crowd cause Mid Valley is opened) but there are over 500 retail shops for you to shop till you drop!

5. SUTERA MALL
Ok la … this mall is not really of the glitz and glam but the upside is that prices are really affordable and there’s plenty of good food options and cheap massage parlours lining the roads just outside the mall.
Even better is that you can reach here just by bus. All you need to get here is going by the Tuas checkpoint is one way to bypass it, and there’s a direct bus from Jurong East MRT to Sutera Mall. Just The for $4.50 (Causeway link bus CW4S) and you’re set on the journey to Sutera Mall takes about one hour depending on traffic conditions.

6. HOLIDAY PLAZA MALL
Who says that old is bad? This is the place where all our dad and mom use to come here and shopping one. This 34-year-old Holiday Plaza Mall is where most Singaporean drop by whenever they are in the area because this mall really bring back the old memories too many Singaporean for sure. The interior and exterior of the mall is somewhat out dated but what’s matter is the inside right? If not, how can this mall still stand after so long. You are guranteed get good prices for the prices of goods and services at Holiday Plaza.
