Mcdonalds’ Join Plant-Based Segment Burger Called McPlant As Growing Demand of Customer
The fast-food giant company, McDonald’s announced that they will launch a new plant-based burger which is called the McPlant series as to cater to customers who don’t eat meat. Which this newly tested out plant-based burger is in cooperation with the company Beyond Meat which is specialized in vegan meat substitutes.
This new line will be exclusively available at McDonald’s with a few selected markets starting next year. Mcdonalds’ also told investors that they are considering these plant-based substitutes for chicken products on its egg, bacon breakfast, and more. As earlier their closest Rival, Burger King who was the first to launch a vegetarian version of their famous Whopper burger in April 2019 in the United States.
This new McPlant was seen as something as new demand from the customer market which Mcdonalds’ is coming to put this new emphasis on their chicken-based product which is growing faster compared to the market of beef product.
