Trace Together-Only Entry on All Singapore Cinemas To Compulsory Roll Out Starting 26th Oct
The TraceTogether app or token will soon be compulsory for all cinemagoers which are the new measure to be applied progressively at all cinema halls starting from 26 Oct. There will be a grace period until 16th November for cinema operators to fully implement this TraceTogether, which shall be a compulsory thing for patrons to enter into cinema.

Which also means that cinemagoers will no longer be able to enter the cinema with SafeEntry QR codes with their phone cameras or Singpass mobile app, or the barcode on their NRICs. The Projector cinema, an independent cinema was the first operator to break this news to patrons on their Facebook on Monday 19th October.
