Singapore Allow Visitor From Australia and Vietnam to Enter Starting 8 October
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) mentioned on Wednesday (30 Sept) that 2 additional countries will have the authority to enter into Singapore which is Vietnam and Australia (excluding Victoria State).
This is due to Vietnam as zero local COVID-18 cases while Australia (excluded Victoria state) has a low virus incident rate too. therefore these 2 countries are joining the 2 earlier countries which are New Zealand and Brunei which has opened its border to revive the tourism and travel markets.
Visitors from Australia and Vietnam will be able to apply for the Air Travel Pass entry from Thursday and they will be able to enter Singapore on Oct 8 onwards. However, visitors have to take a swab test upon arrival and will require to use the Tracetogether app during their stay here.
