You can now consider this new transportation options which soon will be there. What are we talking about? It’s the flying taxis that soon will start flying in Singapore’s skies.
It was announce just this month that Volocopter will be making a series of test flights in the second half of 2019 supported by the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), and Economic Development Board (EDB).
In case you didn’t know, Volocopter is a German firm that develops autonomous Air Taxis and has recently done an unmanned test flight under harsh climate conditions in Dubai. It is deem as that their air taxis are extremely safe and stable and can manoeuvre micro turbulences around skyscrapers.
The Volocopter is a 2-seater passenger drone has 18 rotors or propellers and can cover up to 30 km on one charge which is roughly the distance between Punggol and Jurong East.
