S’pore Partner Apple On New App To Ensure Healthy Lifestyle For Everyone
Singapore Government has partnered with Apple on the latest new app, LumiHealth so more Singapore can be encouraged to have a better healthy lifestyle. On Wednesday, 6 Sept, Apple announced that LumiHealth is a free personalised programme which uses Apple Watch to provide reminder, activity coaching to all user. Where a friendly interface app will guide you through everyday task based on age, gender and eight and also a weekly goal which can be achieved through walking, swimming, yoga and other exercise activities.
LumiHealth will also have features to remind user for health screenings, immunisation plus also sleep habits enhance features. Plus, to all participants which manage to archives goals and challenges, you can earn rewards up to $380 over a 2-year programme.
All signed up participants data will be stored in Singapore and identity details like name and address will be removed before data is shared with Apple.
This LumiHealth programme will be officially launched in late October 2020 while the mobile application is currently available for pre-order on App Store. Singapore residents with a SingPass account aged 17 years old or older are eligible to participate in Lumihealth which user will also require an Apple Watch and Lumihealth App on their iPhone.
