Singapore – Malaysia Border May Reopen On Early Aug
As the border were closed on the Movement Control Order (MCO) earlier, currently now travelling to Malaysia has become a rite of passage for most Singaporeans. As many are still waiting for the border to reopens back soon.

At the moment, the might have some minor source saying that the plans to reopen the Singapore-Malaysia Border are expected to be coming to a final decision on the early month of August. As the Negotiation between Singapore and Malaysia’s government is expected to be finalised in the near future by Malaysia Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein on 6 Jul.
At the moment, only 4 travelling categories for the cross-border are allowed which are:
- Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL)
- Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA)
- Daily commutes for both countries’ citizens
- Full border reopening
