Singaporeans have plenty of choices when it comes to prata, but there is something particularly satisfying about sitting down with a freshly cooked piece, tearing it apart with your hands and dipping those crisp, flaky pieces into curry. If prata is already a regular favourite, an upcoming one-day promotion from Springleaf Prata Place gives diners another reason to make a visit.
On Tuesday, 6 October 2026, Springleaf Prata Place is giving customers 2 FREE Plain Prata as part of a special celebration following the brand’s fifth Michelin Guide recognition.
The promotion is available for just one day, so this is not the sort of offer to leave until the weekend or save for another occasion. Diners who want to enjoy the free prata will need to visit a participating Springleaf Prata Place outlet on 6 October, dine in and complete a simple redemption requirement before ordering.
The best part is that the freebie does not require a complicated purchase process. Customers simply need to join Springleaf Prata Place’s Telegram channel and show the staff their joined status when ordering.
Two Plain Prata on the House
Plain prata might sound simple, but that is exactly what makes it such a dependable Singapore favourite. When freshly prepared, it can have a crisp exterior, flaky layers and a soft, satisfying centre. Pair it with curry and it becomes a meal or snack that works at almost any time of the day.
For this special promotion, eligible diners can enjoy two plain prata for free.
That makes this a particularly easy deal to share with a prata-loving friend, family member or colleague. Two people can each enjoy one, or a single diner can tuck into both while enjoying a proper meal at the outlet.
Since the promotion is tied to the restaurant’s latest Michelin Guide recognition, it also gives regular customers an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with a familiar favourite.
How to Get the Free Prata
The redemption process is straightforward, but customers should make sure everything is ready before placing their order.
First, customers need to join Springleaf Prata Place’s Telegram channel. The brand has shared a QR code for customers to use when joining the channel.
After joining, head down to a participating Springleaf Prata Place outlet on 6 October 2026 and choose to dine in.
When placing the order, customers need to show the staff their Telegram joined status. Once the requirement has been completed, they can redeem the 2 FREE Plain Prata under the promotion.
It is worth joining the Telegram channel before arriving at the outlet rather than waiting until the last minute. Having the channel already joined means customers can simply open their phone and show the required status when ordering.
Remember That It Is Dine-In Only
There is one important detail that customers should not overlook. This giveaway is strictly for dine-in customers.
That means customers planning to grab their prata and leave should not expect the freebie to apply to takeaway orders. The promotion is designed for diners who sit down and enjoy their food at the outlet.
There is also a specific outlet exclusion. Tang Plaza is not participating in this promotion, so customers should check that they are visiting another Springleaf Prata Place outlet before making the trip.
For anyone planning to visit specifically for this deal, it is better to take note of these conditions beforehand. A quick check can save an unnecessary journey, especially if Tang Plaza happens to be the most convenient outlet.
Why This Is Worth Adding to the Calendar
Free food promotions are always attractive, but this one has another advantage: it is easy to work into an ordinary day.
Customers do not necessarily need to organise a special outing. A morning prata breakfast, lunch break, afternoon snack or casual dinner can all become an opportunity to take advantage of the promotion, provided the visit is made on the specified date and the dine-in conditions are followed.
It can also be a fun excuse to get the prata kakis together. Send the promotion details into the group chat and see who is available on 6 October. Since two plain prata are included, a pair of friends can easily share the treat while ordering other favourite dishes from the menu.
For regular Springleaf Prata Place customers, the promotion is an even easier decision. If a prata meal was already on the agenda, getting two plain prata free during the visit makes the occasion a little more worthwhile.
And for those who have not visited recently, the promotion provides a timely reason to return and enjoy a classic prata meal.
A Simple Deal, But Only for One Day
The biggest thing to remember is the date.
This is a one-day-only promotion on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. It is not an ongoing offer, so customers who miss the date will not be able to come back later in the week and redeem the same giveaway.
That makes planning ahead particularly useful. Join the Telegram channel before heading out, choose a participating outlet, make sure the visit is for dine-in and keep the promotion date in mind.
There is no need to overcomplicate it. The attraction is simple: arrive at a participating Springleaf Prata Place outlet, dine in, show the Telegram joined status when ordering and enjoy two plain prata on the house.
A Good Excuse for a Prata Break
Singapore’s food scene is full of promotions, but some of the most enjoyable deals are the ones that fit naturally into everyday life. This Springleaf Prata Place giveaway does exactly that.
Whether it is a breakfast catch-up, a casual meal with family, a quick prata stop with colleagues or an evening outing with friends, 6 October could be a good day to make prata part of the plan.
The offer is also a nice way to mark Springleaf Prata Place’s fifth Michelin Guide recognition without making the celebration overly complicated. Customers get to enjoy one of the restaurant’s familiar staples while taking advantage of a limited-time treat.
Just remember the important conditions: Tuesday, 6 October 2026, dine-in only, join the Telegram channel, show the joined status when ordering, and Tang Plaza is excluded.
For prata fans, two free plain prata are certainly worth making room for in the day’s plans. Tell the prata kakis, pick a participating outlet and make sure the date is saved because this particular treat disappears after one day.
