Finding a proper lunch break during a busy workday can sometimes feel like a challenge. There is always another email to answer, another meeting to attend or another task waiting on the to-do list. But if the idea of a quick sandwich or takeaway meal does not sound satisfying, Haidilao Singapore has introduced a lunch option that could make the middle of the workday much more enjoyable.
The Workaholic Combo at Haidilao 313@Somerset is available from S$29.90++, giving diners the chance to put together a substantial hotpot meal with a variety of dishes, drinks and soup bases. It is designed specifically for those looking for a more filling break from work, and the combination offers plenty of flexibility rather than leaving diners with a fixed set meal.
For anyone working around Orchard Road, Somerset or the surrounding Central Singapore area, this could be a useful promotion to keep in mind when lunchtime comes around.
A hotpot lunch without having to plan everything yourself
One of the biggest attractions of the Workaholic Combo is the variety included in one meal. For S$29.90++, diners can build their own combination from several categories, making it easier to create a hotpot experience that suits their preferences.
The promotion includes two soup bases, three classic hotpot dishes, one meat, one vegetable, one side dish, one staple and two drinks.
That is quite a lot to work with for a weekday lunch.
The two soup bases are particularly useful for anyone who enjoys having different flavours at the same table. Rather than settling for just one soup, diners can have two options and enjoy a little more variety throughout the meal.
There are also three classic hotpot dishes, followed by a choice of meat and vegetables. This gives the meal a good balance between the more indulgent hotpot favourites and something lighter to complement the spread.
A side dish and staple are also included, so diners can make the meal more complete. With two drinks thrown into the combination, it becomes an option that can work well when the goal is to have a proper meal rather than simply grab something quickly before returning to work.
Why this could be a good workday lunch
The biggest reason to consider the Workaholic Combo is simple: sometimes a busy day calls for a proper break.
Lunch is often squeezed into whatever time happens to be available. When work gets particularly hectic, it is tempting to eat something quickly at the desk and carry on working. While that may save time, it does not necessarily feel like much of a break.
A hotpot meal is a different experience.
Sitting down with colleagues, choosing ingredients and cooking them in the soup gives everyone a chance to slow down for a while. It turns an ordinary lunch into something more social and enjoyable.
For office groups, it can also be a convenient way to have lunch together without everyone having to agree on exactly the same dish. Different diners can choose the ingredients they prefer, while the shared soup bases keep the meal interactive.
And if someone in the group likes meat while another prefers vegetables or side dishes, there is enough variety within the Workaholic Combo to make the meal more flexible.
S$29.90++ for plenty of choices
At S$29.90++, the Workaholic Combo is worth considering for diners who want more variety from their weekday meal.
Rather than paying for a single main dish, the promotion packages together several parts of a hotpot meal. The inclusion of two soup bases, multiple classic hotpot dishes, meat, vegetables, a side dish, a staple and two drinks means there is plenty to enjoy around the table.
Of course, the final amount will be higher after the applicable service charge and GST represented by the “++”, so diners should take that into account when budgeting.
Still, for those who already enjoy Haidilao and are looking for a weekday lunch option, this promotion provides an opportunity to enjoy more of the restaurant’s hotpot experience in one meal.
There is also a random free gift
There is another little extra that could make the promotion more fun.
Diners who order the Workaholic Combo can also receive a random free gift, while stocks last.
Because the gift is random and subject to availability, there is no guarantee of a particular item. That is part of the fun, especially for those who enjoy getting a small surprise along with their meal.
It is also worth remembering that promotional gifts can run out, so anyone particularly interested in the free gift may want to visit earlier rather than waiting until the promotion has been running for a long time.
The timing is important
The Workaholic Combo is not an all-day promotion, so timing matters.
From Monday to Thursday, it is available from 11am to 6pm. On Friday, the available period is from 11am to 5pm.
The promotion is not available on weekends and public holidays.
That makes it particularly suited to weekday workers who happen to be around Somerset during lunch or an early dinner period. The extended Monday-to-Thursday timing also gives diners more flexibility if their lunch break does not fall exactly around noon.
For Friday diners, however, it is important to remember the earlier 5pm end time.
Why visit Haidilao 313@Somerset?
Location is another reason this promotion may be convenient.
Haidilao 313@Somerset is located at one of Singapore’s well-known shopping and lifestyle destinations, making it easy to combine a meal with other plans in the area.
For nearby office workers, it can be a practical place to meet colleagues for lunch. For shoppers or visitors around Somerset, the promotion could also be an opportunity to take a proper break before continuing with the rest of the day.
The restaurant’s hotpot format also makes it suitable for groups. Instead of everyone sitting quietly over individual meals, the shared cooking experience naturally creates more conversation and interaction.
That can be especially welcome during a busy workweek.
A promotion worth remembering for weekday plans
The Haidilao Workaholic Combo is not necessarily about having the fastest possible lunch. Instead, it is about getting a more enjoyable and substantial break during the working day.
For S$29.90++, diners can choose from a selection of soup bases, hotpot dishes, meat, vegetables, side dishes, a staple and drinks. There is also a random free gift while stocks last.
The promotion is available from 5 October 2026 onwards, giving weekday diners plenty of opportunities to try it, provided they visit during the stated promotional hours.
For anyone working near Somerset, planning a lunch with colleagues or simply looking for a reason to enjoy hotpot during the week, this is a deal worth putting on the lunch calendar.
Sometimes, a busy workday feels a little better when lunch is something to look forward to.
