Looking for a way to enjoy a tasty treat without spending a single cent? McDonald’s fans in Singapore have a reason to get excited, as a special giveaway offers a chance to enjoy a FREE McDonald’s McChicken Burger on 28 October 2026. The best part? There is no purchase required to take advantage of this deal!
With the help of the CapitaStar app, eligible shoppers can enter the reward code TREAT to obtain a voucher for a McDonald’s McChicken Burger. However, this is a limited-time giveaway, with only the first 250 redemptions available per participating outlet. Those hoping to enjoy this freebie should plan their visit early, as vouchers and burger redemptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, whilst stocks last.
For anyone who enjoys discovering food deals, freebies and simple ways to save money, this is an offer worth checking out. Instead of paying for a burger during a quick lunch break or an afternoon outing, shoppers can try their luck at claiming a complimentary McChicken Burger at one of two participating McDonald’s outlets: Aperia Mall or Funan.
Get a Free McDonald’s McChicken Burger Without Making a Purchase
One of the biggest attractions of this giveaway is its straightforward offer. Customers do not need to purchase other menu items to qualify for the free McChicken Burger. They simply need to use the CapitaStar app and enter the designated reward code, TREAT, to get the voucher, subject to availability and the promotion’s terms.
For budget-conscious diners, this is a welcome opportunity to enjoy a familiar fast-food favourite without adding another expense to the day’s budget. Food prices can quickly add up when eating out regularly, so complimentary food offers like this can make a difference, particularly for students, office workers and shoppers looking for a quick bite.
The McChicken is a popular choice for those who enjoy a simple chicken burger. With its crispy chicken patty, lettuce and mayonnaise served in a soft bun, it offers a satisfying option for a casual meal or an afternoon snack.
Whether someone is already a McDonald’s regular or simply enjoys taking advantage of free food promotions, this giveaway provides a good reason to check the CapitaStar app and see whether a voucher is still available.
How to Redeem the Free Burger
Getting ready for the promotion should be relatively simple. Shoppers should prepare their CapitaStar app before heading to either participating outlet, especially because the redemption window is limited to just six hours.
Here is how interested customers can get started:
- Open the CapitaStar app and look for the relevant rewards or redemption section.
- Enter the reward code TREAT to obtain the McDonald’s McChicken Burger voucher, following the instructions provided in the app.
- Check that the voucher has been successfully issued and review any redemption instructions displayed.
- Visit one of the participating McDonald’s outlets between 2PM and 8PM on 28 October 2026.
- Present or redeem the voucher according to the instructions provided by CapitaStar and the participating outlet.
Customers should make sure they understand the voucher’s redemption requirements before travelling. Since the offer is limited to the first 250 redemptions per outlet, successfully obtaining a voucher does not necessarily mean they should leave the visit until the last minute. It is best to check the voucher conditions and arrive early enough to avoid disappointment.
The voucher is valid on 28 October 2026 only, so anyone who claims one should remember to use it within the stated validity period.
Two Participating Outlets to Visit in Singapore
This giveaway is available at two selected McDonald’s outlets, giving customers a choice of locations depending on where they live, work or plan to spend the day.
1. McDonald’s Aperia Mall
Address: Aperia Mall, #01-24, Singapore.
Aperia Mall is a convenient option for shoppers and workers in the surrounding area. Those who are already visiting the mall or nearby businesses can consider combining their errands with a quick stop to redeem the free burger.
If Aperia Mall is the more convenient location, it is worth checking the CapitaStar app early and planning the visit around the promotion’s redemption hours. Do remember that the limited allocation means availability may run out before 8PM.
2. McDonald’s Funan
Address: Funan, #01-16, Singapore.
For those spending time around the City Hall area, the Funan outlet offers another opportunity to participate. Funan is a shopping destination where visitors can browse retail stores, enjoy a meal or meet friends, making a free burger a useful addition to an afternoon outing.
Shoppers who already have plans in the area can check whether this outlet is the more practical choice. However, they should avoid assuming that one location will have vouchers available simply because the other has run out. Each participating outlet has its own limit of 250 redemptions.
Why You Should Take Advantage of This Freebie
There are several reasons why this McDonald’s promotion deserves attention, particularly for people who enjoy finding bargains around Singapore.
First, there is no purchase required. Many food promotions require customers to spend a minimum amount or purchase another item before receiving a discount. This giveaway stands out because the offer is for a free McChicken Burger, without the need to buy something else to qualify.
Second, it is an easy way to enjoy a familiar snack while keeping spending under control. If someone is already planning to visit Aperia Mall or Funan on 28 October, the promotion could make the outing a little more rewarding. Instead of making a special trip solely for the giveaway, visitors can fit the redemption into their existing plans.
Third, the promotion gives customers a choice of two participating locations. This flexibility is helpful for those who prefer to visit whichever outlet is closer or more convenient for their daily schedule.
Finally, free food promotions are always more enjoyable when the redemption process is planned in advance. By checking the app, understanding the conditions and arriving early, customers can improve their chances of making the most of the offer.
Important Things to Remember Before Heading Down
Although the offer sounds simple, there are a few important details customers should keep in mind.
The giveaway takes place on 28 October 2026, and redemptions are available only from 2PM to 8PM. The voucher is also valid on that date only, so it cannot be saved for another day.
Each participating outlet has a limit of 250 redemptions, and the promotion operates on a first-come, first-served basis whilst stocks last. This means that the giveaway may no longer be available if the allocation has already been claimed.
Customers should also check the CapitaStar app for the latest voucher instructions, eligibility requirements and any additional terms and conditions. They should confirm that their voucher is ready to use before visiting the outlet.
As the promotion is limited to selected locations, customers should not assume that other McDonald’s outlets in Singapore are participating.
Make 28 October a Little More Rewarding
For Singapore residents who enjoy hunting for bargains, the free McDonald’s McChicken Burger giveaway is a simple deal worth checking out. With no purchase required, a reward code to enter in the CapitaStar app and two participating outlets to choose from, it offers an opportunity to enjoy a complimentary burger without spending money on the item itself.
The key is to plan ahead. Check the app, enter the code TREAT, review the voucher conditions and visit either McDonald’s at Aperia Mall or Funan between 2PM and 8PM on 28 October 2026.
Remember that only the first 250 redemptions per outlet are available, so arriving early is advisable. If the voucher is still available and the redemption is successful, customers can enjoy their McChicken Burger while making the most of this limited-time food freebie.
For anyone who loves discovering worthwhile promotions, this is one deal to put on the calendar before it is gone.
