This talk considers a curator’s journey from literature to art history to the cartographic history of East Asia. Discover the MacLean Collection, a private Asian art museum and separate map library, located just north of Chicago. Currently on display in “Mapping the World: Perspectives from Asian Cartography” at the National Library, Singapore are a number of East Asian maps from the MacLean Collection.
