New World’s End: An Immersive Art Experience. Open House presents New World’s End, Singapore’s latest immersive art experience supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. Taking place on the streets and in shophouses of Jalan Besar, it brings together local artists to create a site-specific audio walk.
Set against the backdrop of the New World Amusement Park in the 1960s, this is an experience that takes you back in time. Journey with a pair of young lovers: Kiran, a cinema projectionist and Rosa, a dance hostess. Be prepared to discover hidden spaces of art on the streets of Jalan Besar. In addition, you will enjoy an evocative soundtrack by the music duo, NADA.
