Open for booking from now till 23 June, low-cost carrier Scoot is now offering a special sale on flights to Chiang Mai, Thailand with prices starting from as low as $135 on a one-way trip, including tax.

We also checked the prices and found the flights to be affordable, with all-in return fares costing as low as $235.13 per person inclusive of fees and taxes, although without any add-ons.

What to do in Chiang Mai

Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai
- Arrive in Chiang Mai and check into your hotel

- Visit the nearby Hmong Village to learn about the Hmong people’s culture and traditions.
- Return to the city, take a relaxing stroll around the moat and city walls
- Explore the Warorot Market and taste local foods for dinner
Day 4: Cooking Class and Spa
- Take a traditional Thai cooking class in the morning. Most classes include a market visit to buy ingredients.
- Have lunch (the food you cooked during your class!)
- In the afternoon, book a Thai massage or spa session to relax
- Spend the evening at Tha Pae Walking Street (Sunday Night Market) for local crafts, street food, and entertainment
Day 5: Explore Natural Surroundings
- Visit Doi Inthanon National Park, home to the highest peak in Thailand, beautiful waterfalls, and twin royal stupas.
- Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant in the park.
- Return to the city in the evening and have a farewell dinner.
