Pokémon fans in Singapore have something exciting to look forward to this December! McDonald’s is bringing back its popular Pokémon Happy Meal collaboration, giving children, Pokémon enthusiasts and trading card collectors another reason to visit their favourite fast-food restaurant. With 15 adorable Pokémon-themed miniature collectibles and a collection of promotional trading cards to look forward to, this upcoming promotion could become one of the most anticipated family-friendly deals towards the end of 2026.

The exciting news is that Singapore has been included in the international December 2026 promotional rollout. This is particularly special as 2026 marks Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, making it an extra memorable year for fans who have grown up enjoying the Pokémon franchise.

Whether you are a long-time Pokémon collector, a parent looking for something enjoyable for the children, or simply someone who appreciates limited-edition merchandise, this McDonald’s promotion is worth keeping an eye on. Best of all, customers can enjoy a Happy Meal while receiving Pokémon-themed collectibles along the way.

Although McDonald’s Singapore has yet to reveal the official local pricing and exact launch arrangements, the announced international schedule indicates that the promotion is coming to Singapore from December 2026.

15 Pokémon Happy Meal Collectibles to Collect

One of the biggest attractions of this collaboration is the collection of 15 different Pokémon-inspired miniature Happy Meal box toys.

Unlike ordinary Happy Meal toys, these collectibles feature familiar Pokémon characters incorporated into miniature Happy Meal box designs. Their compact size and character-inspired appearance make them an interesting addition to a Pokémon display shelf, desk or personal collection.

Based on the promotional materials revealed so far, the 15 Pokémon characters include:

• Pikachu
• Eevee
• Umbreon
• Bulbasaur
• Charmander
• Squirtle
• Weedle
• Torchic
• Piplup
• Munchlax
• Minccino
• Espurr
• Rowlet
• Sobble
• Sprigatito

There is a nice variety of Pokémon from different generations, so the collection should appeal to fans with different favourites. From the ever-popular Pikachu and Eevee to newer-generation favourites such as Sprigatito and Sobble, there is plenty to look forward to.

For collectors, the challenge will naturally be completing the entire set of 15 designs. However, customers should remember that individual toy availability may vary between participating outlets, and the local distribution arrangements have not yet been confirmed.

Pokémon Trading Cards Make This Promotion Even More Exciting

The miniature toys are already a good reason to get excited, but there is another attraction that makes this collaboration even more interesting: Pokémon Trading Card Game collectibles!

The promotion is expected to feature 15 different promotional Pokémon trading cards. According to the revealed collection details, customers can look forward to receiving two random Pokémon trading cards with each collectible.

This gives fans another reason to enjoy the collaboration, particularly those who have been collecting Pokémon cards for years.

Here are some of the highlights:

• 15 different promotional Pokémon trading cards to collect.
• Two random Pokémon trading cards included with each collectible.
• Popular Pokémon characters featured throughout the card collection.
• Three specially designed Happy Meal box designs featuring Pikachu, Umbreon and Torchic.

Having both miniature toys and trading cards makes this collaboration more appealing than a typical Happy Meal promotion. Children can enjoy the surprise of discovering which Pokémon they receive, while older fans can appreciate the opportunity to add promotional cards to their collections.

It is also a nice opportunity for friends and family members to exchange duplicate cards. Instead of purchasing multiple meals just to find a particular card, collectors can consider trading with one another to complete their collections more responsibly.

Why Should You Enjoy This McDonald’s Pokémon Promotion?

There are several reasons why this upcoming collaboration deserves a place on your December shopping and family outing list.

Firstly, it offers something beyond an ordinary dining experience. Happy Meals are already popular among families with young children, but adding Pokémon collectibles makes the experience more memorable. Children can enjoy their meals while discovering a surprise toy and trading cards.

Secondly, the collection offers something for long-time Pokémon fans. With 15 different miniature collectibles and 15 promotional trading cards, there is plenty to explore. Some adults may even find themselves joining their children in collecting their favourite Pokémon characters.

Another reason to look forward to this promotion is the special anniversary year. Pokémon’s 30th anniversary makes 2026 a meaningful time for collectors and fans. These McDonald’s promotional items could become memorable keepsakes from an exciting year for the franchise.

It is also a convenient way to enjoy limited-edition merchandise without having to visit a specialised collectibles shop. Customers can simply visit participating McDonald’s restaurants and enjoy a meal while participating in the promotion, subject to the confirmed local purchase requirements.

For families planning their December activities, this could also be a simple and affordable treat to include during a weekend shopping trip or school holiday outing. However, remember to check the official Happy Meal pricing once it is announced.

Tips for Collecting All 15 Pokémon Toys and Trading Cards

If you are planning to complete the collection, a little preparation can make the experience easier.

1. Follow McDonald’s Singapore’s Official Announcements

Keep an eye on McDonald’s Singapore’s website and Instagram account for the confirmed launch date, prices, participating outlets and collection arrangements. This is the best way to avoid relying on unconfirmed information.

2. Visit Early Once the Promotion Begins

Popular characters such as Pikachu, Eevee and Umbreon may attract considerable attention. If you have a particular favourite, consider visiting an outlet early during the promotional period.

3. Check Availability Before Travelling

Not every McDonald’s restaurant will necessarily have the same toy or card selection available at the same time. Contact the outlet or check the latest official announcements before travelling specifically to collect a particular design.

4. Trade Duplicate Cards with Friends

Since the trading cards are distributed randomly, collecting all 15 may take some effort. Sharing duplicates and trading with fellow Pokémon fans can make completing the collection more enjoyable without unnecessarily purchasing additional meals.

5. Protect Your Trading Cards

If you intend to keep your cards as collectibles, consider using protective card sleeves and a suitable storage folder. Keeping them away from moisture, dirt and excessive handling will help maintain their condition.
