Besides the Lucky Draw, Joy Luck Teahouse will also be offering 50% off its recently launched coffee range and its signature Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea.
The Santino Special Blend is a gourmet coffee using 100% premium Arabica beans, specially curated for Joy Luck Teahouse. The medium roast coffee beans have a mellow acidity and a balanced, well-rounded flavour profile. Its aroma is reminiscent of dark chocolate, while its flavour offers hints of toasted walnut, brown sugar and dark chocolate. The chocolatey aftertaste also lingers on the palate.
Joy Luck Teahouse uses a premium European evaporated milk (worth $3.80 per tin) made from full cream fresh milk, instead of the usual milk powder, for its drinks. When added to its brews, the milk lends a moderately sweet flavour which complements the drinks well. Joy Luck Teahouse’s evaporated milk contains less fats and sodium compared to other evaporated milks available in the market. The Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea at Joy Luck Teahouse uses a blend of superior-quality tea leaves imported from Sri Lanka. It was served at the 50th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, an international political event attended by dignitaries including former US Vice President Al Gore, Hong Kong Leader Carrie Lam and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Both the Milk Coffee and Black Coffee (hot and cold) as well as Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea (hot and cold) will go for half price (S$1.75 for hot drinks <Usual price: S$3.50>; S$1.90 for cold drinks <Usual price: S$3.80>) from 9 to 31 August 2021. The 50% discount is applicable only to 1 cup of coffee or tea in a single receipt. This offer is available at all outlets, except Parkway Parade.
