Enjoy a FREE Butterbear Gift at orchardgateway with a Fun In-Mall Treasure Hunt!

Butterbear fans in Singapore have a lovely reason to visit orchardgateway on 9 and 10 October 2026! If you enjoy collecting adorable character merchandise, discovering fun shopping mall activities or simply looking for a freebie that does not require you to spend money, this limited-time Butterbear promotion is worth checking out.

The Butterbear Happy Walk invites shoppers to take part in an interactive in-mall treasure hunt, explore different checkpoints and redeem a FREE Butterbear gift upon completing the activity. The best part? There is no purchase required to participate, making this an appealing option for families, friends, couples and Butterbear fans who want to enjoy something different while visiting Orchard Road.

Instead of simply walking around the shopping mall, participants can turn their visit into a little adventure. Follow the digital map, search for the Butterbear checkpoints and complete the challenge to unlock a redemption QR code. Once the hunt is completed, participants can head to the designated vending machine on Level 4 to claim their gift.

However, this is a limited redemption promotion, so anyone interested should plan their visit carefully. With only the first 1,800 redemptions eligible to receive the free gift, arriving early is a sensible way to improve the chances of securing one.

What Is the Butterbear Happy Walk Promotion About?

The Butterbear Happy Walk is a promotional activity designed to bring a little excitement to a shopping trip at orchardgateway. Rather than offering a straightforward giveaway that requires visitors to queue and collect an item, the promotion encourages participants to explore the mall through a digital treasure hunt.

The activity begins by scanning a QR code displayed on any Butterbear standee. Participants can then access the digital map and follow the instructions to locate the different Butterbear checkpoints around the mall.

As each checkpoint is discovered, participants work towards completing the treasure hunt. Once all the required checkpoints have been found and the activity is successfully completed, a redemption QR code will be provided.

The final step is to visit the vending machine on Level 4, scan the redemption QR code and claim the Butterbear gift.

This simple process gives visitors a reason to explore more of the mall while enjoying a themed activity along the way. It is also a fun opportunity for Butterbear enthusiasts to share the experience with friends who appreciate cute character merchandise.

How to Redeem Your FREE Butterbear Gift

Interested in taking part? The redemption process is straightforward, but participants should make sure they complete every step correctly.

Step 1: Find a Butterbear Standee

When you arrive at orchardgateway, look for any Butterbear standee displaying the QR code for the Happy Walk activity. Scan the code using your smartphone to begin the treasure hunt.

Step 2: Follow the Digital Map

After scanning the QR code, follow the digital map and search for all the designated Butterbear checkpoints around the mall. Take your time to navigate the locations and make sure you complete the required steps.

This is where the fun begins, as the activity encourages you to explore the mall rather than heading straight to the redemption point.

Step 3: Complete the Treasure Hunt

Once you have located all the required checkpoints, finish the treasure hunt according to the instructions provided. A redemption QR code will be issued after successful completion.

Keep the code accessible on your smartphone, as you will need it to claim your gift.

Step 4: Redeem Your Gift at Level 4

Head to the vending machine located on Level 4 of orchardgateway. Scan your redemption QR code at the machine to redeem your FREE Butterbear gift.

Remember that completing the treasure hunt is only part of the process. You must also redeem the gift within the stated promotional period and while redemption stock remains available.

Promotion Dates: 9-10 October 2026

The Butterbear Happy Walk promotion takes place on 9 and 10 October 2026, giving interested shoppers two days to participate in the activity.

There is one important detail to remember: according to the promotional information, participants should complete the hunt on the day they begin and redeem their gift by the following day. Therefore, if you start the treasure hunt on 9 October, make sure you complete the redemption by 10 October. If you begin on 10 October, check the redemption instructions carefully and do not assume that the redemption period extends beyond the promotion’s closing date.

The promotion is limited to the first 1,800 redemptions, and gifts are available while stocks last. This means that not everyone who visits the mall is guaranteed to receive a gift.

As the supplied promotion details do not specify daily redemption quotas or exact operating hours, it is advisable to check the latest information from orchardgateway before making a special trip.

Why Should You Enjoy This Butterbear Promotion?

There are several good reasons to consider joining the Butterbear Happy Walk, especially if you are already planning to visit Orchard Road.

1. Get a Free Gift Without Spending Money

One of the biggest attractions is that no purchase is required. You do not need to buy clothing, accessories, food or other products to qualify for the giveaway. Instead, the main requirement is to complete the in-mall treasure hunt and follow the redemption instructions.

For bargain hunters, promotions like this are worth paying attention to because they offer a chance to enjoy a free item without adding unnecessary expenses to the shopping budget.

2. Enjoy an Activity Beyond Regular Shopping

Shopping trips can sometimes become repetitive, particularly when you visit the same places regularly. The treasure hunt offers something different by turning an ordinary mall visit into an interactive experience.

Searching for checkpoints and following a digital map can make the visit more engaging, especially when you are exploring with friends or family members.

3. A Treat for Butterbear Fans

If you love Butterbear and enjoy collecting character-themed gifts, this promotion gives you another reason to visit orchardgateway. Receiving a free gift can make the trip more memorable, particularly if you enjoy discovering limited-time promotional merchandise.

The exact gift item is not specified in the supplied promotional information, so participants should avoid assuming a particular design, size or product type before redemption.

4. Make Your Orchard Road Visit More Interesting

Orchard Road is a popular destination for shopping, dining and leisure activities. If you are already planning to spend time in the area, adding the Butterbear Happy Walk to your itinerary can make the visit more enjoyable.

You can complete the treasure hunt, explore the mall and then continue with your other plans. As there is no compulsory purchase, you can participate without feeling pressured to spend money.

5. A Good Opportunity to Spend Time Together

The activity may also be an enjoyable option for friends, couples and families who want to do something light-hearted during a shopping outing. Working together to find checkpoints can add an element of discovery to the experience.

Parents should supervise younger children during the activity, especially when moving through busy shopping areas. Participants should also follow the mall’s instructions and avoid running or blocking walkways while searching for checkpoints.

Tips to Improve Your Chances of Getting the Free Gift

Since the giveaway is limited to the first 1,800 redemptions, a little planning can help make the experience smoother.

First, consider visiting earlier in the day rather than waiting until the final hours of the promotion. Although early arrival cannot guarantee a gift, it may help you avoid missing out if redemption numbers fill quickly.

Second, bring a smartphone with an internet connection so you can scan the QR code, access the digital map and display the redemption code when required.

Third, follow the treasure hunt instructions carefully. Make sure you locate every required checkpoint and complete the activity before proceeding to the vending machine.

Fourth, remember the Level 4 redemption location. Completing the hunt without collecting the gift would be disappointing, so leave enough time to finish the activity and redeem your reward.

Finally, check for updated information before travelling to orchardgateway. Promotional arrangements, redemption availability and operating hours may be subject to change, and gifts are available only while stocks last.
