ORBIS Singapore is having their Qixi Festival Special Promotion. (Tanabata) , or known as in Mandarin, is one of Japan’s five traditional seasonal festivals originating from China. On July 7, long, narrow strips of colourful paper known as tanzaku, vibrant ornaments, and other decorations are put up at homes, shopping arcades, train stations, and other public spaces in Japan. Before they are hung, tanzaku are inscribed with a wish.
