Named after John Portman, the world-class Architect who first designed the building in 1987 that now houses the Hotel. The name is both a tribute to Portman and his legacy, and a recognition of the timeless, cathedral-like atrium that provides the environment for the bar and the Hotel’s welcome space.
Inspired by nature, this afternoon tea offers an array of sweet and savoury bites, enlivened with herbs, edible flowers and vegetables freshly picked from their Urban Farm. Served in a picnic basket, these dainty treats are best enjoyed in the lush garden setting of Portman’s Bar.

- Voucher is valid for 90 days from the time of purchase. No extension will be entertained.
- A minimum of 2 diners is required to dine.
- Multiple Vouchers can be used during each visit.
- Voucher is not applicable for other set meals, promotions, discounts, offers or vouchers.
- Voucher is not applicable for use during Public Holidays, Eve of Public Holidays and Special Occasions (Valentine’s Day, Fathers’ Day etc).
- Voucher is valid for dine-in orders only. Voucher is not valid for takeaway orders.
- Voucher is to be presented to restaurant host before ordering. The restaurant has the right to refuse the use of vouchers if presented after the meal.
