Travelling around Singapore can be a little more enjoyable when there is something special to look forward to, especially for fans of popular characters and collectible merchandise. If Pokémon has always been one of your favourite childhood memories, or you simply enjoy collecting unique EZ-Link cards, SimplyGo Singapore has something worth checking out.

Starting from 5 November 2026, commuters and Pokémon fans can look forward to the new Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link Card, available from selected SimplyGo vending machines at Changi Airport MRT Station. Priced at just $10, with $5 stored value included, this special-edition transport card offers a fun way to add a little personality to everyday journeys around Singapore.

Whether you are a regular MRT commuter, a Pokémon collector, a parent looking for something interesting for the children, or a visitor arriving in Singapore, this limited-themed card is worth keeping an eye out for.

SimplyGo Singapore Introduces the Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link Card

EZ-Link cards have become an everyday essential for many people living in Singapore. They make travelling on public transport convenient, allowing commuters to pay for their journeys without having to purchase individual tickets each time.

However, transport cards do not always have to look ordinary. From time to time, special-edition designs give commuters an opportunity to carry something that reflects their interests and personality.

The latest Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link card brings together the convenience of an everyday transport card and the appeal of Pokémon-themed collectibles.

Pokémon has remained one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment franchises, attracting generations of fans through its games, animated series, films and merchandise. Even those who grew up watching Pokémon years ago may still feel a little nostalgic whenever a new collectible featuring the franchise appears.

This new EZ-Link card provides another opportunity for fans to enjoy the Pokémon universe in a practical way. Rather than purchasing an item that simply sits on a shelf, buyers can potentially use their new card for their regular public transport journeys while enjoying its special design.

For collectors, it is also another interesting addition to their collection of character-themed merchandise.

Get the Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link Card for Just $10

One of the biggest attractions of this promotion is its straightforward pricing.

The Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link card is available for $10, and each purchase comes with $5 in stored value. This means buyers are not paying the entire amount just for the card itself, as half of the purchase price is already included as transport value.

For anyone who regularly uses Singapore’s MRT and public transport network, this makes the purchase a little more practical.

Instead of spending money on a purely decorative collectible, buyers receive a transport card that can be used for eligible journeys, subject to the applicable EZ-Link terms and conditions.

It could also make a thoughtful little gift for a friend, family member or colleague who enjoys Pokémon. If someone in the family is particularly fond of Pokémon merchandise, this special-edition card could be a nice surprise without requiring a large shopping budget.

At $10, it is also relatively accessible for casual collectors who want to purchase something special without committing to expensive merchandise.

Of course, those planning to buy one should remember that the $5 stored value is not an additional cash discount. It is value loaded onto the card for eligible transport use.

Where to Buy the Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link Card

Unlike promotions that are available across every retail outlet, this SimplyGo release has specific collection locations.

Interested buyers can purchase the Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link card from the SimplyGo vending machines at Changi Airport MRT Station, specifically at the following locations:

• Changi Airport MRT Station – Terminal 2 exits.

• Changi Airport MRT Station – Terminal 3 exits.

This makes the promotion particularly convenient for people travelling through Changi Airport, including departing passengers, arriving visitors and airport employees.

If you are already visiting Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, you can make a quick stop at the relevant MRT station vending machines to check whether the card is available.

For tourists arriving in Singapore, it could also be an interesting souvenir to bring home. Instead of purchasing another conventional souvenir from the airport shops, a Pokémon-themed EZ-Link card offers something that can be both collectible and useful.

However, buyers should take note that the announcement only identifies these selected vending machine locations. Those hoping to purchase the card elsewhere should not assume that it is available at every SimplyGo machine or retail outlet.

Why Pokémon Fans Should Check Out This Promotion

There are several reasons why this release may appeal to different groups of people.

1. A practical collectible for everyday use

Some collectibles look attractive but have very limited practical use. The Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link card is different because it combines a themed design with the convenience of a transport card.

For regular commuters, it offers an opportunity to make daily journeys a little more interesting.

2. An affordable addition to a Pokémon collection

Pokémon merchandise comes in many different forms, from plush toys and trading cards to figurines and accessories. Collectors who enjoy finding unusual items may appreciate having a special-edition transport card in their collection.

At $10, it is a relatively affordable purchase, particularly with $5 stored value included.

3. A nice gift for Pokémon enthusiasts

Not every gift needs to be expensive to be meaningful. A themed EZ-Link card could be a simple present for friends, siblings, children or colleagues who enjoy Pokémon.

It is particularly suitable for someone who regularly travels around Singapore and can make use of the stored value.

4. Convenient for airport visitors

Since the designated vending machines are located at Changi Airport MRT Station near the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 exits, travellers can check for the card while passing through the airport.

There is no need to make a separate shopping trip if the airport is already part of their travel plans.

5. A little nostalgia for longtime Pokémon fans

Pokémon has been part of many people’s childhoods. For those who grew up watching Ash and Pikachu’s adventures or playing Pokémon games, themed merchandise can bring back plenty of happy memories.

Even a small everyday item can become something enjoyable when it features a franchise that people have loved for years.

Tips Before Purchasing Your Pokémon Blooming EZ-Link Card

Before heading down to Changi Airport, there are a few things worth remembering.

First, check the availability of the card before making a special trip. The promotion announcement does not specify how many cards are available, so buyers should avoid assuming that stocks will remain available indefinitely.

Second, remember that the promotional price is $10, inclusive of $5 stored value. Keep this in mind when comparing the purchase with other collectible EZ-Link cards.

Third, make sure you visit the correct locations. The announcement specifically identifies SimplyGo vending machines at Changi Airport MRT Station near the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 exits.

Finally, read the applicable terms and conditions before purchasing. Buyers who have questions about the card, its usage or availability can refer to the original SimplyGo Singapore announcement.
