Course Description
Soccer is the world’s number one sport. It is played in virtually every country. One of the most important aspects of Soccer is the exercise and enjoyment one derives from the game. Improving one’s skills and understanding of the game will make it even more enjoyable and challenging. Participants will learn how to juggle the ball using the foot and head, dribbling, swerving, low drive, lofted pass, the volley, shooting, receiving the ball, heading in attack and defence. Soccer is an excellent game which can help to foster cooperation among team members. Teamwork is heavily emphasized in Soccer and for a team to be succesful, unity in diversity is the prerequisite. Soccer teaches important skills which are transferable to our daily lives: cooperation, teamwork, organisation and delegation, among many others.
