Nintendo fans in Singapore have another exciting reason to head down to Takashimaya Shopping Centre this school holiday season! If you love Super Mario, enjoy playing Nintendo games or simply cannot resist collecting exclusive character merchandise, there is a special event worth adding to your weekend plans. The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Event is happening at Takashimaya Singapore from 28 October to 15 November 2026, bringing visitors an opportunity to experience Nintendo Switch 2 games and redeem FREE Nintendo-themed gifts.

Held at Takashimaya Square, Basement 2 (B2), the event is designed to let visitors get hands-on with selected Nintendo Switch 2 games while enjoying some fun activities. What makes this event even more attractive is the collection of complimentary gifts available through different trial-play activities. Visitors can look forward to FREE Nintendo Switch Sports Resort hand fans, festive Super Mario holiday stickers and even a Mario-themed red sun visor.

For families with children who enjoy Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad and Yoshi, this could be a lovely activity to enjoy together. Instead of simply spending the day shopping around Orchard Road, visitors can take a break, explore Nintendo’s gaming experiences and potentially bring home some special souvenirs without having to spend money on the trial-play activities.

Enjoy the Nintendo Switch 2 Gaming Experience and Collect FREE Gifts

The main attraction of this event is the opportunity to try out selected Nintendo Switch 2 games. Whether visitors are already familiar with Nintendo’s gaming consoles or are curious about what the latest generation has to offer, the trial-play activities provide a fun way to experience the games before deciding whether to purchase them.

Even better, completing selected game trials gives visitors access to different complimentary gifts. Each activity comes with its own reward, so those who want to collect the available goodies should pay attention to the redemption requirements.

Here is what visitors can look forward to during the event.

1. FREE Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Hand Fan

First up is a FREE Nintendo Switch Sports Resort-themed hand fan. To qualify for this gift, visitors will need to participate in and complete the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Trial Play at the event.

Nintendo Switch Sports offers an enjoyable gaming experience that brings physical movements into gameplay. It is particularly suitable for people who enjoy interactive games that can be played with family members and friends.

The hand fan is also a practical little souvenir, especially in Singapore’s warm and humid weather. Rather than receiving another ordinary promotional item, visitors get something with a Nintendo-themed design that can be kept as a collectible or used when heading outdoors.

If you are planning to visit the event, this is one of the activities worth trying while exploring the different gaming stations.

2. FREE Super Mario Holiday Stickers

Super Mario collectors will probably be especially interested in this next giveaway!

Visitors can redeem a FREE Super Mario Holiday Sticker sheet after completing either of the following trial-play activities:

• Mario Kart World.

• Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park.

The festive sticker collection features several familiar characters from the Super Mario universe, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Yoshi and Bowser.

These colourful holiday-themed designs make the stickers a lovely little gift for younger Nintendo fans. They can be used to decorate notebooks, planners, stationery boxes and other personal belongings. Collectors may also prefer to keep the sheet in its original condition as a small Nintendo souvenir.

For those who enjoy multiplayer gaming, Bellabel Park is another interesting experience to explore. It introduces a multiplayer area with attractions and challenges in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Meanwhile, Mario Kart World offers an opportunity to enjoy the familiar racing excitement associated with the franchise.

Since visitors only need to complete one of the qualifying trial-play activities to redeem the sticker sheet, they can choose the game that interests them most.

3. FREE Mario-Themed Red Sun Visor

Here is another little treat for Super Mario fans! Visitors can also look forward to receiving a FREE Mario-themed red sun visor during the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Event.

For fans who enjoy collecting Nintendo merchandise, this is another fun item to add to their collection. Its recognisable red colour makes it a fitting souvenir inspired by the famous Super Mario character.

It could also be a fun accessory for children who enjoy dressing up or showing their love for their favourite video game characters.

The event offers several reasons to stop by, particularly for families who want to combine entertainment with a little souvenir hunting. However, visitors should check with the event staff regarding the specific redemption requirements and availability of the sun visor before participating.

4. FREE Super Mario Mug with Qualifying Purchases

Planning to purchase a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console? There is another promotional reward that could make your shopping trip even more worthwhile.

Visitors who make qualifying purchases can receive a FREE Super Mario Mug.

There are two ways to qualify for this spending reward:

• Purchase any Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console together with one or more game titles to receive a FREE Super Mario Mug.

• Alternatively, purchase three or more Nintendo game titles to receive a FREE Super Mario Mug.

This offer may be particularly attractive to shoppers who have already been planning to upgrade their gaming console or expand their collection of Nintendo games.

Rather than making a separate purchase for a Super Mario-themed souvenir, qualifying shoppers can enjoy an additional gift as part of their planned shopping.

However, it is important to remember that the promotional mugs are available in limited quantities. Visitors should check the applicable terms and conditions, qualifying products and redemption procedures with the event staff before making payment.

Why Should You Visit the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Event?

There are several reasons why this event deserves a place on your school holiday activity list.

First, it gives Nintendo fans an opportunity to experience selected Nintendo Switch 2 games in person. This is particularly useful for anyone considering purchasing a new console but wanting to explore the gaming experience before committing to the purchase.

Second, the FREE gifts make the visit even more rewarding. From the festive Super Mario sticker sheet to the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort hand fan and Mario sun visor, there are several themed souvenirs to look forward to.

Third, it is a family-friendly activity. Parents can bring their children along to enjoy the gaming experience, especially if they are familiar with characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Yoshi. Friends and gaming enthusiasts can also make it a casual outing while exploring the shops around Takashimaya.

Another advantage is the event’s convenient location. Takashimaya Shopping Centre is situated along Orchard Road, making it easy to combine the visit with shopping, dining or other activities in the area.

The event runs daily from 10am to 10pm throughout its promotional period, giving visitors plenty of time to plan their visit. Those who prefer a more relaxed experience may wish to avoid particularly busy shopping periods and weekends.

One important thing to remember is that all promotional gifts are subject to availability and offered while stocks last. If collecting the freebies is your main reason for visiting, it is better not to wait until the final few days of the event.

Overall, the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Event at Takashimaya Singapore is a fun opportunity for gamers, collectors and families to enjoy some Nintendo entertainment while picking up complimentary Super Mario goodies.

Mark your calendar, bring along your fellow Nintendo fans and head down to Basement 2 at Takashimaya Square to explore the activities. With FREE gifts, exciting games and a convenient Orchard Road location, this is a school holiday event worth checking out!
