Singapore’s food court scene is always changing, and that is part of the fun of eating out here. A familiar food court can suddenly have a new stall, a different menu or another reason to drop by. For anyone who enjoys discovering new places to eat without spending too much, Koufu has something worth checking out this August.

From 27 August 2026 onwards, five new food stalls have been introduced across selected Koufu locations, bringing more choices for diners who are looking for something different from their usual meal. The new additions cover a good mix of Japanese and Korean food, traditional Yong Tau Foo, Western favourites, wok-fried dishes and Chinese street snacks.

There is no complicated promotion code or special redemption process to worry about. Diners can simply head to the participating Koufu outlets during their operating hours, browse the new stalls and order directly from the food options available.

With the five new tenants spread across different locations, this is also a good excuse to try somewhere new rather than returning to the same food stall every time.

Five New Food Stalls To Discover At Koufu

The new additions offer quite a variety, so there is likely to be something for different tastes. Whether someone is after a comforting bowl of local food, a quick wok-fried meal or something with Japanese and Korean flavours, these new stalls give diners more choices.

Kinzei Japanese and Korean at Compassvale

If Japanese and Korean food is usually high on the list, Kinzei Japanese and Korean could be one of the new stalls to try first.

The stall is located at Koufu, 263 Compassvale Street, #01-09. Its Japanese and Korean offering makes it a potentially convenient option for residents in the area who want something different without having to travel across Singapore for a meal.

It can also be a useful spot to keep in mind when dining with friends or family who cannot agree on what type of food to have. Japanese and Korean flavours offer plenty of familiar choices while still giving the meal a change from the usual food court routine.

Cik Lim Yong Tau Foo at Woodlands Health

For those who prefer something more traditionally local, Cik Lim Yong Tau Foo has opened at Koufu, Woodlands Health, #B1-03/04.

Yong Tau Foo remains one of those Singaporean favourites that works well when diners want to customise their meal according to what they are in the mood for. It is also a practical choice for a quick lunch or dinner, especially for people working, studying or visiting the area.

Having a new Yong Tau Foo stall at Woodlands Health gives diners another option when deciding what to eat during the day.

Jing House Western at Buangkok Square

Sometimes the craving is simply for Western food, and Jing House Western is the new option to look out for at Koufu, Buangkok Square, #02-21.

Western dishes are a familiar food court favourite, particularly when someone wants something hearty and filling. The new stall could make the food court a little more interesting for regular visitors who are looking to change up their usual order.

It is also worth considering for families and groups, where different people may have different food preferences. Having another cuisine available means diners have more flexibility when choosing where to eat.

Wok Express at NTU North Spine Plaza

Students and staff at Nanyang Technological University have another option to consider with Wok Express, located at Koufu, NTU North Spine Plaza, #02-03.

As its name suggests, the stall focuses on wok-fried meals, making it a suitable choice for anyone looking for something fast, hot and satisfying.

For busy students trying to squeeze in a meal between classes, or anyone working around the campus who does not have much time for lunch, a quick wok-fried meal can be a convenient option. The arrival of a new stall also gives regular diners another reason to explore the food choices available at the North Spine Plaza.

Sheng Zhou Xiao Chi at V Hotel Lavender

Over at Koufu, V Hotel Lavender, #01-03, diners can check out Sheng Zhou Xiao Chi, which brings traditional street snack-style offerings to the food court.

This could be particularly interesting for anyone who enjoys trying smaller Chinese snacks rather than sitting down for a large meal. Street food has a way of turning an ordinary food trip into an opportunity to discover something different, especially when there are dishes that may not be part of someone’s usual food court order.

For visitors staying around Lavender or people passing through the area, it may be worth making a stop to see what the new stall has available.

No Complicated Redemption Needed

One of the appealing things about these new Koufu stalls is that diners do not need to figure out a complicated promotion mechanic.

There is no mention of a voucher code or special sign-up requirement for this launch. Instead, diners can simply visit the relevant Koufu outlet during operating hours and purchase the food directly from the new stall.

That makes the experience fairly straightforward. Pick the location, check out the available menu and order whatever catches the eye.

However, diners should keep in mind that menu items are subject to availability. The available dishes and menu offerings may also vary according to the individual stall.

Why It Is Worth Checking Out

Not every good food find needs to come with a huge discount. Sometimes, having the chance to discover a new stall close to home, work or school is reason enough to make the trip.

These five new additions give Koufu customers more variety across several locations. Instead of having the same meal every time, diners can use the August launch as an opportunity to explore another cuisine or try something they may not normally order.

It is especially useful for people who regularly eat at food courts. A new stall can make a familiar location feel a little different, while giving regular customers more choices without requiring them to travel far.

There is also something enjoyable about trying a newly opened food stall before it becomes part of everyone’s regular routine. Whether it is Japanese and Korean food at Compassvale, Yong Tau Foo in Woodlands, Western food at Buangkok, wok-fried dishes at NTU or traditional street snacks at Lavender, each location offers a different reason to visit.

Another advantage is convenience. With the new stalls spread across neighbourhood, institutional and hotel-linked locations, diners can choose the outlet that fits their plans rather than making a special journey across the island.

Things To Take Note Of Before Visiting

The new stalls are available from 27 August 2026 onwards, but the original announcement does not specify a fixed end date. This means the new food options are currently presented as available at the participating outlets, subject to each stall’s operating arrangements.

As with any food court offering, individual dishes can sell out or become unavailable depending on the day. Menu selections may also be changed by the stall or management without prior notice.

For that reason, diners who have their heart set on a particular dish should check what is available when they arrive.

Overall, the August additions are a simple but interesting reason to revisit Koufu. With five new tenants bringing different cuisines to selected locations, there is plenty of opportunity for regular diners and curious food lovers to find a new favourite.

If someone has been wondering what to eat this week, a trip to one of these participating Koufu outlets could be an easy way to break away from the usual meal. There is no complicated redemption process and no need to plan an elaborate food trip. Just choose a convenient location, turn up during operating hours and see what the new stalls have to offer.
