If you are in the mood for something really strange, here’s a new ice cream flavour from Cold Stone Creamery that will totally raise eyebrows.
Yes, we are talking about their new Nasi Lemak ice cream which has roasted peanuts, spicy sambal Ikan Bilis, rice puffs and erm… cucumber slices.
You can even ask them to make it doubly spicy.
Like a real nasi lemak dish, except it’s paired with coconut ice cream that will sit inside a Pandan Waffle Bowl.
They’re obviously not kidding.
Because it’s National Day
The new flavours are introduced in conjunction with the nation’s birthday, just because everything has to be inspired by local delights.
There’s also the Chendolicious ice cream for the less adventurous.
Similarly, it also has coconut ice cream but comes with the typical stuff you find in a Chendol dessert – green jellies, red beans, atap seeds and drizzled with Gula Melaka.
Both new flavours will make their debut this Friday, 26 July and will be available at $8.50 per cup at any of the 3 outlets in Singapore – HillV2, Waterway Point and VivoCity.
Add on Plain or Pandan Waffle Bowl for $1.20 and $1.90 respectively.
