UNIQLO’s highly-raved AIRism line has just gotten its newest addition, and this is something all ladies will be thankful for. The AIRism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts – which are basically sanitary panties – will help keep your periods leak-free and comfortable so you’ll never have to worry about embarrassing stains on your clothes.
Recently brought to Singapore on 20 September 2021, the UNIQLO AIRism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts are part of the Japanese fashion brand’s Femcare range – a series of innerwear for ladies including their popular wireless bras, bratops, and even maternity items.
With a three-layer construction, these panties are reliably period-proof. The first is a quick-drying layer with odour control properties to keep you fresh, dry, and comfortable throughout the day, while the middle one covering the crotch area is absorbent and able to hold up to 40ml of liquid. Finally, there’s a water-repellent layer that goes all the way up to the waist and hips to keep your bum dry.
True to their AIRism technology, the sanitary panties are silky smooth and lightweight, and the seamless hems prevent unsightly VPLs from showing.
Active ladies would know the annoyance of having pad wings shift about, and the AIRism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts help combat that with a two-ply gusset that you can slot and secure them into. This portion also has a bonding crimp that helps prevent leakage from seams.
In fact, if you’re comfortable with the idea, you could even wear this in place of a pad. That’s right, it’s designed to be able to replace a sanitary pad or tampon entirely, which makes it very eco-friendly and cost-saving as well – just think of all the pads you won’t have to spend money on in the long run!
