They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Michael Poh, the owner of Oldies but Goodies Vintage shop located at 164 Kallang Way has collected countless vintage items over the years. If you have been looking out for collectibles from the 80s, you might have visited this very shop once or many times.
Sadly, the shop won’t be around soon since news broke that the old building will be subjected to demolishment soon. The building will be evacuating their tenants in July later this year and Michael has just announced a warehouse clearance sale on his Facebook account.
The news of the shop closing has since attracted a lot of attention on Facebook, having shared more than 700 times by enthusiasts and collectors. However, Michael has also mentioned despite the Kallang Way’s shop closure, he will be moving to a larger new shop at Fook Hai Building along South Bridge Road in July.
