Gunpla fans in Singapore have something exciting to look forward to this November! The GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Event is coming to Bugis+, bringing an opportunity for fans to explore exclusive event-limited Gunpla model kits and enjoy hands-on model-building workshops in a lively shopping mall setting. Whether they have been collecting Gundam models for years or are curious about trying this popular hobby for the first time, this event could be a worthwhile addition to their November plans.
Running from 2 to 9 November 2026, the pop-up event will take place at the Level 2 Atrium of Bugis+. Visitors can look forward to discovering Gunpla kits, enjoying the hobby with fellow enthusiasts and taking part in interactive building workshops designed for both beginners and experienced builders.
The best part? Every workshop participant will receive a complimentary model kit to build and take home. For anyone who has been thinking about starting a Gunpla collection or simply wants to spend some time enjoying a hands-on activity, this is a great reason to visit.
Discover Exclusive Gunpla Model Kits at Bugis+
Gunpla, short for Gundam plastic models, has become a favourite hobby among anime fans, model collectors and people who enjoy assembling detailed miniature creations. Based on the popular Gundam franchise, these kits allow builders to recreate their favourite mobile suits using individual plastic parts that fit together to form impressive models.
The GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Event offers fans an opportunity to explore an exclusive lineup of event-limited Gunpla model kits. For collectors, limited-event merchandise can be particularly interesting because it provides a chance to discover items that may not be part of the usual selection available at regular retail outlets.
Visitors who already have a growing Gunpla collection may want to make time to browse the available kits and see whether anything catches their attention. Those who are newer to the hobby can also use the event as an opportunity to learn more about the different models and what makes Gunpla collecting so enjoyable.
As the event is taking place for a limited period, fans who are interested in the exclusive kits should consider visiting early rather than waiting until the final day. Availability may vary, and the event announcement does not confirm that every model kit will remain available throughout the entire event.
Try Gunpla Building at an Interactive Workshop
Buying a model kit is only one part of the Gunpla experience. For many fans, the real enjoyment comes from putting the pieces together, following the instructions and watching a detailed mobile suit gradually take shape.
That is why the interactive Gunpla Building Workshops are another highlight worth looking forward to.
The workshops are designed for both beginners and experienced builders, making them suitable for people with different levels of familiarity with the hobby. Beginners can take their first steps into Gunpla building in a hands-on setting, while seasoned enthusiasts can enjoy spending time on a hobby they already love.
For anyone who has admired Gundam models but never attempted to build one, this could be a good opportunity to give it a try. Instead of purchasing a kit and figuring everything out alone at home, participants can enjoy a dedicated activity focused on assembling their own model.
Experienced builders may also appreciate the chance to share their enthusiasm with other fans. Hobbies are often more enjoyable when people can connect with others who have similar interests, exchange experiences and appreciate the creativity involved in building detailed models.
Workshop availability, registration arrangements, session times and participation requirements have not been specified in the event announcement. Interested visitors should check the organiser’s latest updates before making their plans.
Every Workshop Participant Gets a Complimentary Model Kit
One of the biggest attractions of this event is the complimentary model kit offered to every workshop participant.
For hobby enthusiasts, receiving a model kit to build and take home adds extra value to the experience. Participants will not only get to enjoy a hands-on activity but also have a completed creation to keep as part of their collection or display at home.
It is also an appealing introduction for first-time builders who may be unsure whether Gunpla is the right hobby for them. Trying a new activity becomes more attractive when there is an opportunity to get involved and bring something home afterwards.
Parents looking for a creative activity to enjoy with older children, friends searching for something different to do together, or anime fans planning a shopping trip may also find the workshop worth considering. However, the event announcement does not specify age restrictions or whether children must be accompanied by adults, so these details should be checked before attending.
The complimentary kit is specifically mentioned as a benefit for workshop participants. Visitors should therefore not assume that every person entering the pop-up will receive a free model kit without joining a workshop.
A Fun November Stop for Anime Fans and Collectors
Bugis+ is a convenient location for a casual outing, especially for people who want to combine a special event with shopping, dining or meeting friends.
With the GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Event taking place at the Level 2 Atrium, visitors can make the pop-up their main destination before exploring the rest of the shopping mall. It could also be a good opportunity to introduce friends to the world of Gundam and Gunpla, particularly if they enjoy anime, collectibles or creative hobbies.
Even people who do not consider themselves serious collectors may find the model-building experience interesting. There is something satisfying about seeing separate components come together to form a recognisable character or machine. The process encourages patience, attention to detail and creativity, making it a different kind of activity from the usual shopping or dining trip.
For existing fans, meanwhile, the event provides a reason to meet other enthusiasts and explore the event-limited merchandise lineup. For newcomers, it offers a chance to discover what makes Gunpla such an engaging hobby.
Plan Your Visit Before the Pop-Up Ends
The GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Event will run from 2 to 9 November 2026, giving fans eight calendar days to plan a visit.
The stated daily operating hours are from 10:00am to 10:00pm, although the event will open later at 12:00pm on the first day, 2 November 2026. Visitors planning to attend on opening day should take note of this change to avoid arriving too early.
Since exclusive merchandise and workshop opportunities can attract interest from fellow fans, it is sensible to check the organiser’s announcements before travelling. This is particularly important for anyone hoping to participate in a specific workshop or purchase a particular model kit.
There is no confirmed promotional price list or general admission fee stated in the supplied announcement, so visitors should check the official event information for any applicable charges, booking requirements or additional conditions.

Why Should You Visit the GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Event?
There are several reasons to consider dropping by Bugis+ during this limited-time event. Gunpla collectors can explore an exclusive lineup of event-limited model kits, while beginners can discover the hobby through interactive building workshops. The complimentary model kit for each workshop participant is an added attraction, giving participants something tangible to take home after the activity.
The event also offers a different way to spend time with friends and fellow anime fans. Instead of simply browsing shops, visitors can explore a hobby that combines creativity, patience and the satisfaction of building something themselves.
Most importantly, the pop-up runs for only a short period, so fans who are interested in the merchandise or workshops should plan ahead and check for updates before visiting.
