Laguna Phuket Triathlon Returns. The 29th edition of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon, known as “The Race of Legends,” is set to take place on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
This iconic event features a challenging race distance, including a 1.8K swim, a 55K bike ride, and a 12K run through the beautiful landscapes of the Laguna Phuket resort destination and the local communities in the northern part of Phuket Island.
Exciting features of this year’s event include cash prizes for both amateur and professional athletes in the “Elite Category” and various pre and post-race experiences. These experiences include bike practice sessions, open water practice swims, yoga sessions, breakfast at a farm-to-table restaurant, a Muay Thai boxing tournament, and a Lifestyle Night Market.
Over the past 28 years, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon has earned its reputation as Southeast Asia’s longest-running and most successful triathlon event, hosting elite athletes and triathlon legends.
Participants have the opportunity to choose from various race options, including the full Individual and Team Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon, and Duathlon. Accommodation at the Laguna Phuket group’s seven hotels is available at a special rate using the code ‘LTP2023.’
