Merchant’s Terms and Conditions

• This Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with Sembcorp Power’s General Terms and Conditions (Homes & Businesses), applicable Price Plan Summary, and other applicable Promotion Terms and Conditions.
• The Promotion is valid from 1 January – 31 March 2021.
• Standard Chartered Cardholders who signed up for a 12- or 24-month electricity price plan (“Promo Price Plans”) with Sembcorp Power are eligible to participate in this Promotion (“Eligible Customer”).
• Under the Promotion,
  • Eligible Customer must fulfil all the following:
    • sign up for a 12-month Promo Price Plan with Sembcorp Power; and

• • • input promo code “SCB12” during the sign-up process.

• Eligible Customer will receive a one-time, total of S$80 bill rebates, comprising of S$60 to be awarded at 1^st month, and an additional $20 during fulfilment period described in clause 5, (collectively as the “Gift”) if he/she fulfills all the following:
  • Be the first 100 to sign up for a 24-month Promo Price Plan with Sembcorp Power
  • input promo code “SCB80” during the sign-up process.
  • pay Security Deposit using Standard Chartered Credit Card during sign-up
  • set up Standard Chartered Credit card for recurring payment; and
  • In relation to the additional $20, to have the first Recurring Payment successfully charged and posted to their Standard Chartered Credit card by 31 May 2021, failing which, the additional $20 bill rebate shall be forfeited.

• The additional $20 bill rebate shall be credited to the Eligible Customer Sembcorp electricity account before 30 June 2021.
• The Gift under this promotion shall be subject to change and may be revised at any time in Sembcorp Power’s sole & absolute discretion.
• The bill rebates offered under the Gift will be used to offset the electricity bill, excluding Security Deposit and all non-electricity usage related charges. If the electricity bill amounts to less than the value of the bill rebates, the remaining value will be used to offset the subsequent electricity bill(s).
• If any outstanding Gift not redeemed by any Standard Chartered Cardholder, upon the expiry or termination of this Agreement, then such unconsumed Gift will be forfeited. The Gift shall under no circumstances whatsoever be paid out in cash or in kind to any party.
• Sembcorp Power reserves the right to claw back the full value of the Gift in the event the agreement is terminated for any reason.
• This Promotion is not valid with other promotions, special discounts, roadshow activations and MyRepublic stores, unless otherwise stated.

• Sembcorp referral program is applicable for this Promotion.
  • Sembcorp Power Referral program is exclusive for customers who sign up online for Sembcorp Power residential electricity plans only and cannot be used at any roadshow locations, MyRepublic stores or any sign-ups via any agent of Sembcorp Power. Referral Code is not applicable for Renewal Plan, Sembcorp Staff Plan, No Contract Plan, Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS), Groupbuy, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or campaigns unless otherwise stated. Please refer to the Referral Program General T&Cs, respective price plan factsheet and price plan summary for eligibility.
• Sembcorp Power is not the supplier of the products and/or services provided by Standard Chartered and will not accept any responsibility or liability to any party arising from or in connection with any party’s purchase of products and/or services from Standard Chartered.
• In addition, Sembcorp Power is not an agent of Standard Chartered and makes no representation as to the quality of the products and/or services provided.
• All feedback or customer issues relating to the products and/or services provided by Standard Chartered should be directed to Standard Chartered.
• Standard Chartered and Sembcorp Power’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be determined in its reasonable discretion and is final and binding on all participants.
• Standard Chartered and Sembcorp Power reserves the right at its reasonable discretion to terminate or vary or suspend the Promotion and to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time.
• By participating in the Promotion, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions hereunder.
• “Sembcorp Power” refers to Sembcorp Power Pte Ltd and “Standard Chartered” refers to Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited.
• Standard Chartered The Good Life® Programme General Terms and Conditions apply.
• In the event of any inconsistency between these Merchant’s Terms and Conditions and Standard Chartered The Good Life® Programme General Terms and Conditions, these Merchant’s Terms and Conditions shall prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
