1855 The Bottle Shop Singapore are having their Wine & Whisky Week. Enjoy a one-stop tasting, shopping and educational experience for all wine and whisky enthusiasts, from novices to connoisseurs and many more.
1855 The Bottle Shop (1855 TBS) is proud to present the first installation of its Wine & Whisky Week (WWW), Singapore’s first event with a dual focus on Wines and Whiskies.
WWW will be held from 14 July (Thursday) to 24 July (Friday) 2016 at Suntec City Tower 4 East Atrium Level 1. 1855 members will be treated to an exclusive preview night on 14 July from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
WWW creates a focal point for two of Singapore’s favourite alcoholic beverages – Wine and Whisky. With the first Michelin guide launching this year, it reflects Singaporeans’ growing awareness for great food and drinks. As a whole, Singaporeans are more knowledgeable about their wines and spirits and have developed more sophisticated palates.
The inaugural edition of WWW will feature a diverse selection of more than 500 carefully curated labels from 15 countries (France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, Argentina, Germany, Scotland, USA, Portugal, Hungary, China, Ireland) by over 200 producers, and visitors can expect savings of up to 50% on selected labels.
Highlights of the event include sought-after Grand Cru Bordeaux wines from acclaimed wineries such as Pichon Longueville Baron, Montrose and Talbot, second labels which represent exceptional value for money, in addition to rare whiskies from renowned distilleries such as Yamazaki, Nikka and Kavalan. Apart from the big names, there will also be wines from boutique wineries, and day-to-day drinking wines.
