Looking for affordable toys to keep the little ones entertained without spending too much? Parents and families in Singapore may want to add Sheng Siong Supermarket to their shopping list this November, as the supermarket is bringing back its exciting Sheng Siong Toy Fair Promotion, running from 1 to 30 November 2026.

Toys are always a favourite among children, but finding something enjoyable, interesting and reasonably priced can sometimes be a challenge for parents. Whether it is a little surprise for the kids, a birthday present, or simply something new to keep them occupied during their free time, having more choices under one roof makes shopping a lot easier.

The good news is that Sheng Siong’s Toy Fair offers shoppers an opportunity to explore a variety of toys and fun finds while carrying out their usual grocery shopping. Instead of making a separate trip to a dedicated toy shop, families can drop by their nearest Sheng Siong supermarket and browse through the available toy selections.

Discover a Variety of Toys for Different Interests

One of the best things about the Sheng Siong Toy Fair is the variety of toys highlighted in the promotion. Children have different interests, and finding something that matches their personality can make a simple shopping trip much more exciting.

According to the promotion announcement, shoppers can look forward to discovering fun building blocks, exciting board games and creative DIY accessories, alongside other interesting toy selections.

For children who enjoy constructing and creating things, building blocks can be a fantastic choice. These toys allow little ones to use their imagination, experiment with different designs and create their own little structures. Whether they prefer building houses, vehicles or imaginative creations, there are plenty of ways to enjoy this type of play.

Building activities can also encourage children to develop their problem-solving skills, patience and creativity. Rather than simply playing with a ready-made toy, they get to participate in the process of making something themselves.

For families who enjoy spending time together, board games are another interesting option worth exploring. They offer an opportunity for parents and children to put away their electronic devices for a while and enjoy some quality time together.

From learning how to take turns to understanding simple rules and playing friendly competitions, board games can make family evenings and weekends more entertaining. They are also a good way to encourage communication and interaction between family members.

Meanwhile, children who enjoy arts, crafts and hands-on activities may find the DIY accessories particularly interesting. Creative toys can give them the freedom to experiment, personalise their creations and discover new ways to express themselves.

With different types of toys available, parents can browse around and find something suitable for their children’s interests.

Make Grocery Shopping More Exciting for the Kids

Let’s be honest, grocery shopping is not always the most exciting activity for young children. While parents are busy checking household essentials, choosing fresh ingredients and comparing prices, the little ones may sometimes get bored.

The Sheng Siong Toy Fair could make an ordinary supermarket visit a little more enjoyable.

Parents can take the opportunity to introduce their children to the available toy selections while shopping for their daily necessities. It is a convenient way to combine two errands into one trip, especially for busy families who prefer to make the most of their time.

Children can also have fun looking through the different toy options and discovering something they might not have seen before. Parents can involve them in choosing a suitable toy, making the shopping experience more interactive.

Of course, it is always a good idea to set a small spending budget before visiting. This helps children understand the importance of making choices while allowing parents to keep their shopping expenses under control.

A Good Opportunity to Find Gifts for Children

If there are upcoming birthday celebrations, family gatherings or special occasions, November could be a convenient time to look for gifts.

Finding an appropriate present for children is not always straightforward. Some children love building toys, while others prefer games or creative activities. Having several categories to explore gives shoppers more flexibility when choosing something that matches the recipient’s interests.

The Sheng Siong Toy Fair may also be worth considering for parents who want to prepare a few small surprises for their children.

Rather than waiting until the last minute to purchase gifts, shoppers can browse the selection throughout the promotional period and see what catches their attention.

These toys may also be suitable as little rewards for children after completing their schoolwork, helping around the house or achieving personal milestones. Sometimes, a thoughtful and enjoyable gift does not need to be particularly extravagant to bring a smile to a child’s face.

Do remember that the actual selection may differ between outlets, so it is worth checking with the nearest Sheng Siong supermarket if there is a particular toy you are hoping to find.

Why Should Families Visit the Sheng Siong Toy Fair?

There are several reasons why this promotion deserves a visit, particularly for families with young children.

Firstly, convenience is a major advantage. Sheng Siong supermarkets are already part of many Singapore households’ regular grocery-shopping routines. Having a toy fair available at these outlets means shoppers can explore additional products without travelling to another shopping destination.

Secondly, there is a variety of play options to discover. Building blocks, board games and DIY accessories offer different experiences, allowing parents to consider toys that suit their children’s ages, interests and preferred activities.

Thirdly, it is an opportunity to encourage more meaningful playtime. In a world where children are increasingly surrounded by digital entertainment, toys that involve building, creativity and family interaction can provide alternative ways to spend their free time.

Board games can bring family members together, building blocks can encourage imaginative thinking, and DIY activities can give children something enjoyable to work on independently or with their parents.

Most importantly, the fair gives shoppers an additional reason to explore what their neighbourhood Sheng Siong supermarket has to offer. Even if they are already planning a grocery run, taking a few extra minutes to browse the toy section could lead to an interesting find.
