During phase 2, self-service buffets dining are still banned due to prohibiting diners to crowds and gather at common areas to help themselves to the food. With this ban on rules, a few restaurants have converted their business to a la carte and rolling trolleys of food around to enable dine-in buffets business ongoing.<\/p>\n

But mostly due to this new norm, this a la carte and rolling trolleys option requires more manpower which isn’t helping out much of these buffet business eatery. Therefore, there are still quite a number of buffets restaurant are still waiting for Phase 3 to kick in.<\/p>\n

\nJapanese hotpot chain Suki-ya is among the one which converted their business and keeping customer safe with rolled out trolleys in its outlets. While a customer can order ingredients from staff members if the food aren’t on the trolleys list.<\/p>\n
