With the latest “Black Lives Matter” movement which is spreading in the United States now. More and more people are aware of this over the racial issue and a lot of shared stories of racial insensitivity have been surfacing on all news.<\/p>\n

Like a story which happens in 2016, when a group of Raffles Institution (RI) students celebrates their Indian friend’s birthday, it caused a great racial issue as from the photo it shows all other students with a black mask covering their face. After this photo has resurfaced on the internet, the former students in the photo have apologized for the inconsiderate incident.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ong Ye Kung (Education Minster) mentioned that these insensitive acts are not condoned in Singapore and it is a good thing for the young generation of today to gain awareness of this issue.
