\"\"SINGAPORE – The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 632 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore as of Tuesday noon (May 5), taking the total count to 19,410.\"\"<\/p>\n

Among the new cases are 9 local cases (Singaporeans and permanent residents), while migrant workers living in dormitories form the bulk of the remaining cases.\"\"<\/p>\n

The breakdown is as follows:<\/p>\n

a) Imported cases: 0
\nb) Cases in the community: 12 (8 Singaporeans\/Permanent Residents, 4 Work Passes)
\nc) Work Permit holders (residing outside dormitories): 15
\nd) Work Permit holders (residing in dormitories): 605<\/p>\n

Of the new cases, 97% are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.<\/p>\n

62 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 1,519 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.<\/p>\n

There are currently 1,584 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 24 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.<\/p>\n
