\"\"(Singapore 28th April 2020) Singapore has 528 new cases of Covid-19 infection, which is lower than the past few days, with a total of 14,951 cases.\"\"<\/p>\n

This is also the lowest case record reported by Singapore since the 15th of this month.<\/p>\n

\"\"According to preliminary statistics from the Ministry of Health, most of the new cases today (April 28) were foreign workers living in dormitories, as well as eight Singapore citizens and permanent residents.<\/p>\n

As of 28 April 2020, 12pm, MOH have confirmed and verified an additional 528 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore. The breakdown is as follows:<\/p>\n

a) Imported cases: 0
\nb) Cases in the community: 10 (7 Singaporeans\/Permanent Residents, 2 Work Passes, 1 Visit Pass)
\nc) Work Permit holders (residing outside dormitories): 7
\nd) Work Permit holders (residing in dormitories): 511<\/p>\n

Of the new cases, 83% are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.<\/p>\n

33 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 1,128 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.<\/p>\n

There are currently 1,689 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 21 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

On Monday, the ministry reported 799 new cases, including 764 foreign workers living in dormitories.<\/p>\n

A total of 12,183 of the 323,000 migrant workers living in dormitories – about 3.77 per cent – have tested positive, putting the spotlight on their living conditions in these dormitories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
