\"\"Just take note for those who are catching train at night that several EWL & NSL MRT stations will close earlier for renewal works<\/p>\n

This early closure will be starting April and May as some MRT stations will be closing earlier on the North-South Line (NSL) and East-West Line (EWL). SMRT made the announcement on their\u00a0website<\/a> on Wednesday (25 Mar), as they wish to install new power cables using the additional hours.<\/p>\n

Worried not if you’re impacted as\u00a0there will be shuttle bus services provided between affected stations.<\/p>\n

Here are the impacted station:<\/h4>\n

4 EWL stations to close earlier on Fridays & Saturdays from 3 \u2013 25 Apr. From Friday (3 Apr), Paya Lebar, Eunos, Kembangan and Bedok MRT stations will close at around 11pm.<\/p>\n

4 NSL & 5 other EWL MRT stations to close earlier in May & June. This will be happening from 15 May till 27 June, 4 NSL MRT stations \u2013 Jurong East interchange, Bukit Batok, Bukit Gombak and Choa Chu Kang \u2013 will close earlier.<\/p>\n

Additionally, 5 EWL stations \u2013 that being Lakeside, Chinese Garden, Jurong East interchange, Clementi and Dover \u2013 are shutting earlier as well.<\/p>\n

All of these stations are scheduled to close earlier on the following Fridays and Saturdays:<\/p>\n
