Our Ministry of Health (MOH) has come out with a plan and they have activated hundreds of general practitioner clinics across the country to allow people with respiratory symptoms to receive subsidised treatment and medication.<\/p>\n

This move is our government\u2019s latest attempt to contain the virus outbreak \u2014 will eventually see about 900 GP clinics activated as part of MOH\u2019s network of designated Public Health Preparedness Clinics.<\/p>\n

The important question is how much will these clinics be charging? Good news is that the citizens and permanent residents will just have to pay a flat rate of $10 for consultation and treatment, while Singaporeans in the Pioneer and Merdeka generations will only pay $5.<\/p>\n

Also this consultation, if you’re one of those suspect, there will also be five days of sick leave too if the patients displaying respiratory symptoms.<\/p>\n

To make things easy, you can even check online now on where the clinic is. \u00a0Why? Because MOH launched Flu Go Where<\/a>, a microsite that lets you search for the nearest PHPCs wherever you live. As of writing, there are over 800 participating clinics that provide special subsidies, so finding one near your abode shouldn\u2019t be an issue.<\/p>\n

Aside from that, there is also another government portal called\u00a0Mask Go Where<\/a> but this portal show the locations of community centres where constituents can collect a free pack of four surgical masks.<\/p>\n
